Trains, Trains, Trains

The girls received many present from Santa, but their one "big" gift was a Thomas the Train set and table.  They didn't ask for a train set, but whenever we go someplace that has trains, they are completely fascinated by them and play with them non-stop, so we thought that it might be a good idea.  Santa worked very hard to create a train table for them from scratch - and the result of his hard work was beautiful.  We then bought various trains and track set ups until we were satisfied that we had a track design that would keep them interested.  They love the train set - they play with it for at least an hour every day and they have already redesigned the train tracks a few time.

Playing on Christmas morning.

Rosie the train.

Elizabeth redesigned the tracks.

If the girls really love trains, you should check out the Portland cellar savers display. It's on Main Street in Portland. Our kids loved it and we loved that it's free :)

Thanks Alicia - I had heard about it, but totally forgot. We are going to try to go this weekend, because it's the last weekend for the train exhibit until the holidays start up again.
