It's that time of year again. Time to think about the ways in which we can make 2010 better than 2009; time to make some resolutions. In addition to the usual suspects - lose weight, be more healthy and active, and spend less money - we here on Clover Street have made a few commitments to each other.
* Spend more quality together - playing, laughing, hiking, and doing other fun activities with the girls. We have a membership to a children's museum that offers reciprocity to hundreds of other facilities across the country and we intend to take advantage of that this year.
* Spend more time with friends. We spend so much time running around that we rarely spend quality time with our friends. This year, we are going to make more of an effort - because, quite frankly, we deserve to have fun too!
* Reject technology for at least a few hours each week. I am biggest offender in this category, but I truly believe that if we make an effort to avoid our television and computers for a few hours each week, it will be easier to achieve our other resolutions.
*Make fewer trips to New Hampshire. Sorry friends and family, but 19 (no, that's not a typo!) trips during 2009 put us over the edge. If you want to see us this year, you are simply going to have to get in the car and drive. If we could do it 19 times last year, we know that you can do it once or twice this year!
I am sure that we will think of more ways to better our lives in 2010, but that should be enough to get us started...

Thank goodness most resolutions are broken than actually followed through with...You can't spend more time with your friend's if they live in NH...
Will you come for the O'Connor Christmas? What's your address again?? Just kidding...my resolution will be to drive south...
