Summer Odds and Ends

 

Some summer odds and ends:

Getting some work done in my office during the World Cup.....

Lots of road trips for Beau this summer.

My last visit with my sister before she transitioned to hospice.

Some of the best parts of my summer was commuting to work with Emily.

I miss Kathleen so much.

I'm not sure many kids worked harder than Emily did this summer.

After her summer classes finished, she slept. A lot.

Birthday hike for Elizabeth

Spring Odds and Ends

Odds and ends from spring: 

When you lift more than any other female athlete on campus, you get cupping.

This girl has her masters degree!

First day in corporate America.

Emily gets up at 4:30am three mornings a week to lift before soccer practice; then goes into the office for 9+ hours; then goes home and studies/does school work for the classes she's taking this summer. Life is a grind, but at least the gym is empty when she gets there.

Quick trip to NYC for some shopping and excellent coffee.

Elizabeth got locked INSIDE her house/yard and we Factimed to help her figure out a way out. Plot twist - we did not and she had a call a locksmith.

Retirement brings new opportunities and ways to give back.
