May Soccer

The Sporting 06 girls had a terrible spring season, winning only one game, tying one game and losing the rest.  It was a tough road for the team, but it was made a bit more bearable for Emily by the fact that transitioned out of the backfield and played a lot of midfield and forward, in an effort to light a fire under the offense.  She also played a few games for the 05s and 04s, which is always a learning experience.  Now, it's on to summer league and preparation for the fall high school season.

MHS Prom

The first weekend in June, Elizabeth went to Gabe's prom.  One of the neatest things about the MHS prom was the fact that Elizabeth got to take prom photos with kids she went to kindergarten with - so neat that Gabe is current friends with some of her original friends!

Sixteen

Our beautiful Emily turns sixteen today.  She is such an incredible human and it is such a privilege to watch her grow as a person every day.  Emily loves her friends and has more than we can count.  She loves to play sports and excels in every sport and in any position she is asked to play.  She works incredibly hard in school and has the grades to prove it.  Time and time again, we are blown away by her report cards, her success on the field, her dedication to her craft (whether it be singing, hours in the yard playing soccer or lacrosse, or repeats the track), and her incredible friendships. We are so proud of the person she is today, as well as the fact that she continues to grow into an even more amazing person every day.  Happy birthday baby girl!!!

NWC Graduation

Elizabeth graduated from Northwest Catholic in a beautiful ceremony held at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. She was so incredibly happy and we are just so happy for her as she closes this chapter of her life and begins thinking about the next chapter.
