Hartford Athletic

On Saturday night, we went to the first home game for the Hartford Athletic, a new professional soccer franchise playing in the USCL.  The Athletic's road to a home field has been a long one, and their actual stadium still isn't ready, but it was great to see them play before home fans in such a great stadium.  Emily's soccer club was asked to provide players to walk on the field for the national anthem and to hold the flags for the teams.  For some reason, Emily and a few of her friends were lucky to be chosen to walk on the field. Although they missed the pre-game tailgate with the rest of their team - and several tv interviews - they loved every second of being on the field.
