First Lacrosse Game

Lacrosse started a few weeks ago and the girls played their first game of the season on Thursday night.  As a 7th grader, Elizabeth plays for both the Juniors and the Seniors; Emily moved up to Juniors this year, so for the first time ever, they are playing on the same team.  Emily (and three of her Bantam teammates from last year) learned quickly that she cannot just dominate in Juniors lacrosse like she did in Bantam.  They all played well but in the end, the other team prevailed 11-8.  Elizabeth scored four goals, including three straight unanswered goals in the second half.  She got off to a pretty rocky start and then really started coming on as the game went on.  I love to watch her play lacrosse and I love watching her run.
