First Week of Lacrosse

The girls finished their first full week of lacrosse games, Emily playing three games and Elizabeth playing two.  In one week, Emily already played more games than Elizabeth did her entire first season.  It is so great to see how much girls lacrosse is really taking off in our town.  Neither team has won a game yet, but with such a young program, that's a pretty high expectation anyway, so no one seems too down.  Emily's team had a close 3-2 loss on Saturday morning, so that got them a little amped up.  We are learning more and more about the rules of the game every week and it is so much fun to watch.
Emily's first game was on a warm, balmy night.

Two nights later, Elizabeth played on the same field - it was brutally cold and windy, as you can tell from the sweatpants and sweatshirt that she put on under her uniform (in the porta potty - ewww.  We don't use public restrooms and certainly not porta potties, so she must have been freezing!).

Middletown Lacrosse Day was last Sunday, with boys and girls lacrosse games running at all times all day long.  So much fun!
