Crowning Mary

The day after First Holy Communion, all of the children are invited to crown Mary.  They wear their First Communion attire and sit together and can have any of the items that they received as gifts blessed by Father.  Emily had the wore the cross necklace my mother gave her so that it could be blessed, which was very emotional for both she and I (and my mother, when I told her).  They also sang to the congregation at the end of the service.
