Christmas in New Hampshire

Yesterday, we drove to New Hampshire to spend the afternoon and evening celebrating Christmas with my family.  It was great to all be together again, for the first time in two years.  We had a wonderful time talking and eating and exchanging gifts.  As I get older, and as my parents get older, I am especially grateful for times like this.
Ready to open presents.

Uncle Joe and Auntie Karen scored with both girls with their Ambercrombie purchases!

Taylor Swift perfume set from Uncle Mike and Auntie Sandra.
A warm, fluffy blanket from Uncle Mike and Auntie Sandra - for a girl that loves to be warm and comfy, this was a prize!

Emily's reaction to Elizabeth's gift is priceless.

Elizabeth was just as excited about receiving this movie from Auntie Grail, but all of the photos that show that were blurry (too much crazy movement!).
Each of the granddaughters received a $100 bill from my parents.  We quickly determined that not only were they stunned by the gift, but that none of them had ever seen or held a $100 bill.  It was really interesting to watch.

Kathleen, photobombing the family picture.
Waiting patiently for Uncle Joe to finish cutting the prime rib.
Official taste testers.

Pronouncing it fit to eat!
Book swap.

More photobombing.
