The Magic Kingdom

Although it's been years and years since Lee and I last visited Walt Disney World, we both remembered the Magic Kingdom with the fondness of children and when we returned, it did not disappoint.  There is just something magical about the place and seeing it through the eyes of our children made it even more so.
Considering this is the auto entrance, I'm not sure how I remember this sign, but the moment I saw it, memories from childhood came flooding back.
For both visits, we were at the park long before opening - the benefit of having small children, I suppose.
Main Street, all decorated for Christmas, the castle in the distance.

Did I mention that I was fascinated with the castle?

Even the back side of it was magnificent.
If that's not magical, I'm not sure what is.
Meeting Mickey and Minnie for the first time as a family was so great.
Fun with Goofy at the Pirate's of the Caribbean.
The girls were fascinated with this fountain near Cinderella Castle.
The train.
The girls loved looking at the map of the park (usually while we were waiting in line to meet a character), planning out the next stop.
I had to convince our tired girls to stay for the Electrical Parade and they were so glad that they did!

I wish that I could have taken more photographs, but because we did not claim our seat on the streets three hours in advance, we actually watched from inside the Confectionary and I dashed outside to take these when I had the chance.

Cinderella Castle is even more magical in the evening.
