The Characters: Part I

Along with allof the humans, there were plenty of animal characters to see and meet in the three parks.  Prior to going to Disney, Emily feared anyone dressed in a costume, especially if they were wearing masks.  During our trip to New York over the summer, she refused to go anywhere near the fraudulent imitation Mickey and Minnie characters that we saw, which made us think that she would completely freak out when she saw all of the characters at Disney.  Her reaction, however, was exactly the opposite - she wanted to stand in line to meet each and every one of them and both of the girls genuinely hugged them all.
Meeting Mickey for the first time.
Hugging Minnie.

She waited in line to meet Pluto while Elizabeth and Lee went off to do something else.
Meeting Daisy at Epcot.
Stitch was quite the character.  He even "spit" on their autograph books.
They met the adorable Marie in Epcot - at the time, none of us had any idea of who she was, but by the time we left, we had not only met Marie several more times, but had a Marie stuffed animal.  Elizabeth simply adored her.
Meeting Donald in Mexico at Epcot.

Chip and Dale in Epcot.
Lilo and Stitch in Animal Kingdom - notice how Stitch was not behaving, and pulling on Emily's pigtails!!
Rafiki from The Lion King.

Meeting Jiminy Cricket in Animal Kingdom.

Meeting King Louie and Baloo from The Jungle Book.
Winnie the Pooh, all dressed up for Christmas.

Hugging Eeyore, extra tightly.

Tigger was also all dressed up for the holidays.
