Emily's Birthday Weekend

We celebrated Emily's fourth birthday for four days - from preschool cupcakes through Sunday afternoon, as Lee and I thought it wise to hold back our presents until after she had her hair cut (little did we know that she would be so excited about it!).  On her actual birthday, her only present was from Elizabeth - the umbrella that she so desperately wanted.  After the dance recital on Saturday, she got to open presents from both sets of grandparents, Peter & Lisa, as well as all of the gifts that had flowed in via mail over the course of the week and she was in heaven!  On Sunday, she finally got to open her presents from Mom and Dad and she was thrilled!  Happy Birthday Emily - hope that your fourth birthday was everything you wanted and more!!
Emily got the umbrella that she desperately wanted from Elizabeth.
She loved it and wanted to use it right away!!!
On Saturday morning, she was surprised to find that the Dudleys had left a bunch of balloons for her!
Showing off (with both hands) how old she is!
Making a wish!
Opening presents from Grammy and Grampy.
Unbelievably excited to get a Leapster from Grammy and Grandpa.
Loving her new headband from Peter and Lisa, even with the tag still on.
A puzzle from Uncle Mike and Auntie Sandra.
A new book - which we've read EVERY night since - from Miss Melissa and Mr. Mark.
Memory game from Uncle Mike, Auntie Kelly and Felix.
Hello Kitty swag for both girls from Aunt Sylvia.
The much coveted Mulan Barbie from Mommy and Daddy.
