Last week, I got an inside look at the camp where Elizabeth has been spending her days. Members of the YMCA Board (of which I am one) are encouraged to tour Camp Ingersoll while it is in full session and lucky for me, my visit was scheduled while Elizabeth was at camp, so I actually got to see her "in action"- and she never saw me. Later that day, our entire family went back to camp for the twice-postponed Family Night. Elizabeth really enjoyed giving us the full tour (albeit, only of her little part of camp - the actual grounds cover almost 80 acres) and introducing us to her counselor and swim instructors. We were happy to learn that she is really doing well, gaining confidence every day. And, while her counselor confirmed that she is a "high energy child", she did say that she really does a great job focusing on her tasks. Hurray for summer camp!! Click here for more pictures.

Inside the "Wee Hut." Jen, this one is for you - they struck this pose all on their own, practically simultaneously.....
These are from my tour - Elizabeth (wearing orange) was in swim lessons.
Emily is NOT happy that Elizabeth and Dad went out in the canoe.

Emily, patiently waiting for their return to shore.

Getting ready to head home. I love this shot, as Elizabeth really had Emily by the hand almost the entire time that we were there, showing her one thing or another.

This is really a great place! Laila went when she was 5 years old as well and I think it was the perfect transition into Kindergarden!! It was crazy for me to think that she was gone all day and that she had her own little life of her own without me. Scary!
Love the pose! They crack me up!
