Celebrating America

On the Fourth of July, we celebrated America's birthday by taking the girls to a great parade in Madison.  It is one of the oldest parades in the state and the girls loved it - but it was really long!  The girls were disappointed by the lack of marching bands, but there were plenty of other things to keep them occupied.  What a great way to spend a beautiful July morning!

The Shriners get pretty close - it's not like I was in the road when I took this picture - this guy was practically on the grass (I think that Lee thought one of these guys was going to take out one of our girls!)
It was unclear whether all the steam was planned or not....
