Through Elizabeth's Eyes

These are some of the first pictures Elizabeth took with her new camera. She really captured our delight with her delight on Christmas morning (first two pictures), which is pretty cool. She spent most of Christmas Day taking pictures of her presents - the more she liked the gift, the more pictures of it she took! Most of the pictures below are from a walk around our neighborhood during which she took about 150 pictures saying, over and over again, "I want to take a picture of that" (I wish I had taken my camera to capture the look on her face - she was really loving it!). She's really having fun with it, although she does wish the elves had not included the delete button, that she sometimes presses by mistake.

The Santa outside of our house.

A bow on a wreath resting on a gravestone at a nearby cemetary - she even fixed the bow.

Our toothbrushes (?)

A catch basin near our house (she actually took shots of all of them.)

Emily
She really likes to take pictures through the windows - this one is of me but we have a bunch of cars driving by, our neighbor's Christmas lights, etc.

These photos are amazing. Seriously. Like a professional trying to take photos through a child's eyes.
I think the best part of this is that you may have set Elizabeth up for a future career. As an example, my sister always got historical paper dolls for Christmas growing up (i.e. Cleopatra, Martha Washington, Princess Diana)...fast forward 20 years and she's about to get her masters in the history of fashion and costuming.
You never know, Elizabeth could be the next Annie Lebovitz!
