Today marks the two year anniversary of Emily coming into our lives. It hardly seems possible. She is a ton of fun and a barrel of laughs. Thanks to all the time she spends with her older sister, she has well over 50 words (but who's counting?!) and during the last month, started to put short sentences together - like "love you mama", "bye bye dada", and "elliot go". She will eat pretty much anything except fried eggs, but her favorite snack is goldfish and her favorite thing to drink is milk. Although we found a picture in which she looked a lot like my mother around 18 months, the general consensus is that she looks like Lee; she has a lot of her Uncle Mike's (Lee's brother) facial expressions. She may look like her father's side of the family, but her personality is pretty much all me - Emily is very, very stubborn, likes to yell and scream, but loves to laugh (sound familiar yet?). She loves to sing - sometimes demanding "twinkle, twinkle" over and over again at bedtime - and beebops to Alicia Keys and Fergie. As tough as she can be (and she can be tough), she is amazing to be around. Happy birthday Emily Grace, our sweet little girl!
