Club sports have senior days just like varsity sports and Elizabeth's was in late March. Unfortunately, New Haven lost, but she played a great game and had a lot of fun. Her teammates really love her, and she is having such a great time playing on this team.
Gabe drove down from Canada to see her play.
Elizabeth got two yellow cards on her high school senior day, which meant she was ejected from the game. Ironically, the girl that caused the second yellow is now a teammate at New Haven. She hasn't yet made it through the season without a yellow, but this time, we were pretty certain it was not warranted, a s the refs were trying to get the game under control and made a bad call.
Some of her Starbucks co-workers made the 45 minute drive to watch their first ever lacrosse game.
