Northern Lights

Like most people, I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights. The timing was not right during our Alaska trip so I figured I would never see them, or we would need to go to Norway or someplace like that. Last week, there was a crazy solar storm and the result was that at 7:15pm, you could see the northern lights - from our driveway! It was cool to go outside and hear people all of the neighbor looking up in wonder and I was able to get some pictures from the driveway and then I walked up the street and got some from the cemetery (away from the lights).
