Learner Permit

In Connecticut, you can get your Learner Permit as early as your sixteenth birthday although you cannot get your license until you are almost 17.  On a whim, when all DMV offices were closed during the pandemic, Elizabeth and I went online and registered for her Learner Permit test for the morning of her birthday. We got extremely lucky, as the testing location that we registered at re-opened just two weeks ago!  She tested at 8:30 am and by 9:30, she was driving me home!
