Invention Convention
Every other year, JPII participates in the Connecticut Invention Convention. For some reason they skipped last year (yay!), but Emily had to participate this year. She invented Beau's Toasty Coatsy, a dog coat with a battery charged heating pad to keep little dogs with short fur warm in the winter. We thought that it was a pretty good invention, but you never know - some years are highly competitive. JPII's invention convention was on Friday night and Emily was one of six students selected by three independent judges to compete at the state level at UConn in May. She is so excited!!
