Barbados

The first week of May, we stepped waaaaayyyyy outside of our comfort zone and went to Barbados for the destination wedding of our dear friends Nick and Agnes.  Lots of logistics and planning went into the trip (passports for everyone!) and in the end, it was such a great time.  There is nothing like being on a warm, sunny island with 50 of your closest friends.  The girls absolutely loved it and it looks like they may have been bit by the travel bug!
1 renewal and 3 brand new passports.
We took a limo bus from our town to JFK with 20 other wedding guests - at 2:45 am......
You are never too old to watch the planes land.

We were met with tropical drinks upon arrival at the hotel.

They don't make kids cooler than this one.
The view from our room.

Monument to the first ever escaped slave on the island.
Chickens, chickens everywhere.
Before we left, Elizabeth wrote a paper (surprise, surprise) about the island.  She was fascinated about a 'killer tree", that I believe led to the death of explorer Ponce de Leon.  We found one on our first walk off of resort property.

Chess anyone?
Random cats hoping for food droppings at every meal.

Lizards everywhere.
Lee spotted this giant snail inside of a garbage can.
