Our vacation schedule was a bit unusual this year, leaving us with a free day early in the week. We (I) decided that we should do something different, so we made the two hour drive to Franconia, New Hampshire. After hiking the Flume Gorge in the morning, we enjoyed a hearty lunch (including our first ever taste of poutine!) and headed to the Lost River Gorge. Although the Flume was great, it was crowded with visitors. The Lost River was amazing, with all sorts of different caves to inspect along the way. We had a good time and decided that although the drive was long, it was definitely worth the trip!
The pool - 120 feet deep.
