Amazing Grace

The students attend mass together once a month, usually the during the first week of the month.  When I got home from work on Wednesday night, Elizabeth told me that she had been asked to play Amazing Grace during the monthly mass the next day.  Apparently, she played the song for her music teacher, who then had her play it for the school principal who then asked her to play it at mass.  There is one other "advanced" flute player, who played it with her as well.  Thankfully, I was able to juggle my work schedule to make it to mass to see her play.  She did such a great job, as we knew she would.

The fifth graders also sang at mass and did a terrific job.
