The Nutcracker

On Sunday, the girls and I went to see the Nutmeg Ballet perform the Nutcracker at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford.  I have not seen the Nutcracker on stage since I was in college and the girls have never seen it, so it was a wonderful experience.  The was a one page description of the story in the front of our program, which I read to them before the ballet began.  Not once did they have a question about what was happening during the show - they were totally captivated by the performance and I was blown away by how incredible the dancers were.  I hope that we can make going to this show an annual tradition!

Much like before the Grinch, the girls had the chance to meet Santa in the lobby before the show.

The dancers received multiple standing ovations and many cheers of "Bravo!!"
