Poking Around Portsmouth

One of the places we really enjoy is Portsmouth - it is a great town with all sorts of neat stores and restaurants. We usually eat there at least two nights and spend as much time as we can going into the various shops and snack places.
Portsmouth really has an old New England feel to it.
One of the ice cream shops that we discovered this year, tucked away in an alley.
Emily devoured her Annabelle's
This place was a gold mine for little kids - floor to ceiling toys of every shape, size, color and price.  We could have stayed for hours.
Window shopping.
There is always at least one interesting piece of art on Congress Street - last year it was a giant, metal ant and this year it was a giant moose made out of wood.
