War Memorials

The World War II and Vietnam Memorials were breathtaking, as you would expect.  I was surprised by  the size of the World War II Memorial - there were tons of people there, but yet it was so large, there was plenty of room for people to move about.  There was just so much to see that I'm sure we missed a lot.

This statue is at the entrance to the Vietnam War Memorial, which is simple, but moving just the same. Walls and walls filled with rows and rows of names of those that died.
