Celebrating Nine

Elizabeth loved turning nine and celebrating her birthday - she was able to drag out the celebration for a few days of opening presents and was so delighted with each and every gift that she received!

Uncle Mike and Auntie Sandra's gift arrived first and Elizabeth conned us into letting her open it the night before her birthday. 

It started out good - brownies!! 

Followed by a nice letter from Auntie Sandra. 

And a fabulous book about horses!

Emily was under the weather on Elizabeth's birthday and was in bed when she opened her gifts; it wasn't until a few days later that she gave her present to Elizabeth.
