Last weekend, the girls were part of their first ever Christmas pageant, which was put on by our church. They joined 30 other children, who ranged in age from two to fifteen and had a great time. We had rehearsal every night for a week and they got better and better as time went on. Elizabeth and Emily both wanted to be angels and they were unbelievably cute, if I do say so myself. The pageant was wonderful (okay, it was only wonderful if you saw it once; if you sat through five straight nights of rehearsal, it was painful!) and had the intended effect on the girls - focusing their attention on the birth of Jesus, rather than Santa.
