Dance Recital

Yesterday was the girls' dance recital - Elizabeth's third show, Emily's first.  Emily had a very difficult time at both the dress rehearsal and the recital itself in her ballet performance, apparently because she was not with Elizabeth.  The first two pictures below are ballet - Emily basically stood on stage, completely on the verge of tears at the rehearsal; she was a little bit better at the recital itself, but just barely. BUT, she didn't cry. 

Next up, acrobatics - and Emily's personality change.  Side by side with her sister, she did a great job.  And together, they basically stole the show at the recital - Emily barely able to contain her excitement, Elizabeth trying to keep her in check.

Elizabeth then performed ballet.  She did a really good job and was obviously very excited.  She did most of the moves, which was great.

Finally, Elizabeth's jazz performance.  This was Elizabeth's first year of jazz and it was pretty good.  Her costume was very cool (very 70's dance party) and you could tell that she was having a great time with it.  Videos to come, later in the week.
