Haddam Neck Fair

Last weekend, we went to the Haddam Neck Fair.  It was our first time going to this annual event, which is not too far from our house, and I think that we are going to make a tradition of it.  I loved going to the Deerfield Fair in New Hampshire when I was growing up and while the weather is little warmer for this Connecticut Fair, I am sure that it will help our girls make some great memories.  They loved getting up close and personal with all of the animals, the rides and the food.  It was great fun and we practically had to drag them out of there when it was time to leave.

The camel gets a little to close for comfort for Elizabeth.
Emily loved the sheep (go figure).
Serious fair cookin'.

Petting a baby goat in the cow barn.
Although the sign specifically said "no petting animals in this area," the owner of this baby rooster took it out so that both girls could touch it.
