In mid July, Elizabeth accepted a full time job with her company and on August 1st, she signed her first lease. It took a few weeks for her relocation benefits to get squared away and so during that time, she finished out her time at her long term Air BnB and then slept on an air mattress in her new place. In early September, Lee flew out to ABQ to meet the movers and get her all set up and squared away in her new place. While she still needs to get a lot of things (for example, she has no tv and no idea when she will have the funds to buy one after all of the other stuff she has needed to purchase), her place has started to come together nicely. We can't wait to visit her!
Because her company was handling her relocation, we bought a lot of stuff (like rugs) in Connecticut while she was here on bereavement leave.
