The girls love going to Hampton, so we always make sure to spend an afternoon on the boardwalk.

The waves were spectacular during our week at Wallis Sands, and the girls took full advantage of them, playing in the water nonstop.

The girls ended the week with a Starbucks treat (and, if we're being honest, I started the week with my annual hot fudge sundae from The Puritan).

Brown's 2017

We made our annual trip to Brown's during our vacation, but it just wasn't the same.  For the first time, we went to Brown's without any of our family - we've been so used to go with at least my parents, and the last few years, most of my siblings and nieces have joined us too.  The lobsters, steamers and chowder were still yummy, but we missed the good company.

Vacation 2017

I'm a bit late with this post, but we had a great vacation at Wallis Sands in late July.  The weather was mostly good, the waves were spectacular early in the week, and it was nice to be away from work, camps, soccer and academic commitments for a while.
